How do you deal with doctors that try and railroad you ...?

You know the kind, pretty much whatever you say, they already have their little sample bag of Anti-Depressants at the ready.
And, apparently, that 'DR' in front of their name bestows upon them Godlike powers of infallibility. So...any tips or tricks?

How do you find a decent doctor who is willing to listen to the person actually living in the body they are just guessing about.

Second Opinion specifically don't allow for questions that deal directly with drugs or medications as per the forum guidelines. Furthermore sourcing is prohibited on bluelight, and this does include asking what to say to your doctor to obtain desired medication.
