Opioids How do people overdose on Oxycodone?

Sadly apparently via statistics a lot of overdoses are intentional suicide attempts (I don't have information to back this up).

But I could imagine how after years of repeatedly failing to defeat opiate addiction how one could feel hopeless and give in. There is a dark nature of opiates where life feels miserable with or without them.

I would be surprised if this was the case. Not because I doubt that suicide is a growing problem, but more because overdosing is an extremely unreliable method. I've read stats that suggest only around 5% of attempts by drug overdose actually work.

They take too much.
I have a a moderate-high opioid tolerance but If I took a months script (56) OC80's at once I'd still overdose on it and die.
