Info How do I post a thread with a poll please?

Please can someone give me comprehensive instructions on how to post a thread with a poll where members can answer onc.
I cannot find where to put my poll options for posters to tick.
I tried doing it and when I previewed it the poll did not come up.
All help appreciated or if you can point me towards instructions thanks

I did that and 'poll choices' did not come up in the poll. wtf

In which forum are you attempting to create one? There may be different rule sets/configurations for each.
