Make sure you use new, clean needles. Then, do it like a phlebotomist would. Clean the area, inject your shit, and apply direct pressure.

^ Agreed, Use a fresh needle every time. Also, rotate injection sites so your veins get a rest in between injections.

I always use fresh needles, and I always rotate injection sites.
