How do I drain a bad arm abscess??

@Prettyboy12 every hour counts!!! Every hour you're not going to the hospital might worsen your situation, depending on the abcess and more importantly if it's spreading(you should see thin red threads around the area if it's spreading). Please once you read this get your lazy ass off the sofa and get to the doc, or I will find you and get you there myself, but then you need a boot removed from your ass as well.
 
You need antibiotics like now. My ex gf had a abcess and had it drained and they put her on strong antibiotics right away. Don't fuck around with that shit get to a hospital.

Mine just kinda popped, but I think that's rare. It was extremely painful, as well. Like, went I went out I was VERY careful not to get anyone bump into me 'cause if someone even brushed again that arm it really hurt. Over where it was there were what looked the spots with yellowish-green "heads". I touched it (to see if it was hot ie infection) and like half a pink of warm, yeasty fluid shot everywhere paha.

I had an enormous intra-muscular one on my thigh, too, but I needed surgery to remove that one. It was ridiculously painful to the point where I couldn't walk (literally, it didn't just hurt too much, I actually could not walk). The specialist actually told me because of the size, the fact it was infected, and that it was inside a muscle meant it would have been less painful if I'd just broken my femur.

UPDATE: My abscess busted open on its own. I pushed the infection out. It seems to finally be empty. Flattened out, not hurting and redness is going away. Let me just say…the smell coming from the shit pouring out damn near made me puke!!!! OMFG worst thing I’ve ever smelled in my life!
I hope it doesn’t fill back up but usually does unfortunately. I’m keeping it clean and covered until the hole closes up.

Well, if this isn't you trolling us at this point, I hope you end up lucky and it magically goes away. It smelling that much definitely doesn't sound good. Go to the doctor.
 
Go to the doctor asap! You can be honest with them and you won't be placed in rehab or go to prison or lose your job or anything. They can only help and I think that's important right now. Infections can be very dangerous, especially if you have a fever. Most docs have seen it all. If they're judgmental, that's just them being a bad doctor, don't let it phase you

I have already talked to my BFF who is going to help me pay off my balance at the doctors office so that I can be seen so I do plan to properly take care of it. I appreciate everyone’s advice and caring so thank you.

That’s very kind of your BFF but if it is going to take a while I’d go to the ER who are required to treat you. I noted you are in Texas. This seems to be a list of free or low cost clinics in Texas. Maybe there is one near you?

There's some tendancy to believe people are trolling on here. I don't understand it, but there's a predisposition to believe people aren't telling the truth on here when it comes to serious, oftentimes unbelievable issues.

Ah ok I gotcha. Thank you for believing me. People who troll are just disgusting humans tbh especially when it comes to potential health issues. As for me I should be able to get in to see dr by Friday. Hopefully all I’ll need is strong antibiotics for a few weeks. I’ve not had any fevers so that’s good.
