Me and a few other people in Oz have been getting some ambiguous testing results from different batches of MDMA.
The only possible substance that gives an MDMA result for all other reagents but turns Robatest a light blue with streaks/circles as we are getting is 6-EAPB.
My feeling now is that it is contaminated Robatest giving a false positive. We’ve tried Robatest from a couple of different sources and some give an obvious change to blue, some just the hint of a change, and some absolutely nothing at all. Most of the testing was done with brand new unopened bottles.
The best quality reagent in sealed glass ampoules gives nothing. I’ve sent a few samples of the MDMA to a lab and asked them to look specifically for 6-EAPB and provide a quantitative analysis.
Anyone got any insight, comments, or similar experience.
