Bupe Horrible precipitated withdrawals from IV bupe... thought this couldn't happen?

I imagine this has already been said, but it is the buprenorphine that causes precipitated withdrawal, not the naloxone, because bupe has much much higher affinity for the mu opioid receptor. This should be common knowledge by most by now.

And to the real oblivion above, yes, suboxone does have citric acid in it, so I imagine taking it sublingually, holding it in your mouth every day for however long, does have a negative impact on one's teeth, though most never talk about it. I wonder how bad it does mess up the teeth enamel and such.....

subutex is just bupe, no naloxone it, and as far as shooting suboxone ive been IVing it for about a year now withnout one prob, but i wont abuse anymore than 2mgs

Here is where I always get confused. Lets say someone was shooting 8 mg daily and that is totally normal for them. Should they just stop and shoot 1 mg? Wouldn't they go through WD? This is purely academic as I don't shoot anymore, but am just always confused...

My question is this; within the last 24 hours. I IVed 3/4 of a subutex. Like 1/4 at a time. Staring around 11 last night. Did the last 1/4 around 1:30pm. Would I be ok IVing an 8 mg suboxone film tomorrow around 2pm. I've never had a problem IVing 8mg film before. But I've also never did a sub the day before.
