High blood pressure + d-amp + ACE inhibitor...safe?

I'm wondering if this combination is safe or will somehow kill me down the line. My blood pressure is under control now with an ACE inhibitor. Notably, I started the BP meds while on dextroamphetamine, so I'm assuming the BP stuff counteracts d-amp's raising effects. Does anyone want to chime in?

how high is your BP?
yeah the BP meds will be messed up from the dextro.
all i'll say is taking amphetamines won't help, consider a new DOC?

Did you have high blood pressure before you starting using dextroamphetamine? The reason I ask is this drug is known to increase blood pressure. Perhaps your doctor thought in prescribing these meds together, the benefit outweighs the risks. Talk to him if you feel that this isn't a good fit.

My BP is currently in the 120 -- 130 / 80 region, so not too bad. I do have a strong family history of hypertension. I started monitoring my BP long after starting dextroamphetamine.
