Heroin, Subutex, or both?

Ok so a few months ago I found out my boyfriend was doing heroin again. Then he switched to subs. I know he is shooting the subs and I've seen the subs. My question is how would I know if he was still doing heroin as well? It seems during the week he is normal and fine and then sometimes on the weekend I come home from work and his eyes look all messed up. Could this be from shooting too much of the subs or heroin? Also he takes quite a bit of sleeping pills like a whole bottle within a short amount of time like in a week or so. Is there a reason for this? Like does it strengthen the high or something of heroin or subs?

The sleeping pills probably increase the nods. He could very well be doing both. Maybe ask him from an educated point of view if he's doing H too. If it's something he's all secretive about and hopelessly addicted you might be better off finding some other dude.
