Heroin Heart Pounding after using Heroin intravenously

So my husband and his twin brother both did a shot and they both said their heart started pounding for a few mins. Anyone know why this could be?

Definitely a cut. No-one will really speculate. Other than the heart thing did they enjoy their hit?
Deffo a dodgy cut. Avoid buying from this dealer again

Could be something related to either the histamine release or the dopamine release. But I agree with the poster above.

It actually turned out that they had cotton fever...... It started out with heart pounding and then 30 minutes later my husband starting sweating uncontrollably. His Twin just kept screaming for hours he was in pain and to make it stop. I'm not positive that it was cotton fever but that's what they told me. I believe it was from them using the same cooker to make up their hits. It was really dirty and used multiple times by my husband's twin.
