Blake Fielder-Civil's mother has claimed her son used to act as Amy Winehouse's 'drugs mule'.
Georgette Civil has sensationally revealed she spent 'years' covering up for her beloved boy and the late singer – who died of alcohol poisoning in 2011 aged 27 – and claims he once told her he was spending up to £600 a day on heroin.

She told The Sun newspaper: 'He was her drugs mule. I’ve finally seen him for what he really is — and it has broken my heart.

'I was in total denial that the son I loved was a hopeless heroin addict. I even watched him swallowing packets of drugs, wrapped in foil.'
Georgette found out the pair had married in Florida in May 2007 - three years after they started dating - via a phone call from Blake, and she met the Back To Black hitmaker for the first time shortly afterwards.

The 48-year-old insists she 'adored' Amy when she first met her but later became the couple's 'enabler' and used to ignore the signs they were doing drugs.

Georgette – who split from Blake's father Lance Fielder when he was a toddler - even prevented her husband Giles, a headmaster who raised Blake, from talking to her son about drugs because she pretended it wasn't happening.

In the interview, Georgette admitted she once saw Blake forcing himself to swallow drugs while staying the night with him but it wasn't until afterwards she realised he was addicted.
Speaking after writing a tell-all book, Letting Blake Go, about her son and his marriage to Amy, she added to the newspaper: 'I started pleading with him to stop, but he didn’t. I knew he was swallowing drugs to take to Amy, and all I could think of was, "He’ll die, they’ll explode in his body." '

Georgette also claims Amy's father Mitch Winehouse once accused Blake of giving the singer heroin shortly after Amy had ended up in a coma, and Georgette now admits he was right to slam her son.

Blake saved her life by ringing for an ambulance and after the incident the pair both went to rehab.
When Blake finally revealed to Georgette that he was spending £600 a day on heroin she admits she couldn't face up to the fact and told him he was speaking 'nonsense'.
Georgette is now concerned Blake will go the same way as Amy and die unless he 'does something'.
Last year, Blake opened up about his life with the star when he was interviewed by Jeremy Kyle.

He admitted he was responsible for first introducing Amy to heroin, and said he believes the drug was the main factor in causing the singer's destructive path.
Recalling the night Amy smoked the substance for the first time. Blake said: 'I'd taken it about three or four times, we were in a hotel in east London and I think I had about £10 of heroin with me, which is something I used to do after a club.'
A representative of Amy declined to comment when approached by MailOnline.
MailOnline has contacted a representative of Blake.

Meh I fail to see why it matters. My dope dealer gives me dope smuggles it and has it on him for me, that does not make him at all responsible for my usage. Nor is it the person who asked if I wanted its fault. It is MY fault I said yes I make the decision to do it, even if its free I choose to put it in me. It's not like someone goes "it's on the house" and those words send it flying into your veins against your will.

Why do people try to blame others. Your daughter was a drug abusing pop star, be happy she was successful and not ODed in a bathroom at McDonalds unknown to the world. She is one of the "lucky" drug users if you will, able to sustain a habit money wise while being moderately successful at least. Yes it's tragic she died but that's her fault not some guys.

And end rant on personal responsibility.
