What's with being charged over the top prices for drugs/alcohol/sex workers when abroad.
If you are Australian/Kiwi/Japanese tourist the locals think "This guy has to be wealthy, let's rip him off"
I once got scammed into paying a few hundred dollars for a bottle of French champagne and the company of a young woman in the Montramare Red light district of Paris. I wouldn't have minded if the price included one on one time but it didn't.
One of the disadvantages of being Oriental Asian when on vacation in trashy yet expensive holiday destinations in Western countries is that the local scammers think you are a meal ticket. Two words for Europe champagne girls. In America and Canada the dishonest hookers love tourists.
Apart from France only maybe Vegas and North American ski resorts are more dodgy.
Any Asian guys visit a ski resort in North America and been approached by a friendly young guy offering a fun time with a female friend in a nearby hotel room?
I guess people know cocaine is expensive in Japan and blonde women are highly desirable to Asian tourists.
I remember when I visited a B.C ski resort a while ago a hooker and her coke dealing friend was working out of one of the hotel rooms targeting Japanese tourists with offers of cocaine fuelled debauchery!
I was approached but declined the offer. One poor Japanese guy from the hostel I stayed at had no self control and spent his entire vacation budget of $2000 CAD in less than a week. The hooker who was a young hot blonde charged Asian guys a week's paycheck for a line of cocaine and a hand job. sure she was high class but prostitutes being illegal it was like she had a license to print money.
Karma caught up with her when Kelowna P.D raided her.

With el Chapo locked up and the Sinaloa cartel no longer as resourceful as it once was especially in major cities are young Mexican men slinging grams of coke out of hotel rooms in ski resorts villages a thing of the past?
