I'm waiting for some
summertime,
remember,
when everything was fine?
when everything hadn't yet
crossed the line?

They say I drink too much,
go to bed too late,
They say I got no time
to do anything great,
Telling myself I've never
told other folks,
I guess that's what I know.

Let's go on holiday
Let's forget all the things
we say
It's summertime
I guess that's
all I know

Maybe get an old black crow
to narrate the
wonder rope,
It's summertime,
Except we're feeling fine

I told myself I don't like
that rock and roll lifestyle
anymore,
sometimes I wonder if
I will ever make it
home,
some thoughts I've never
had before.

I'm living in a dream,
but nothing relative
to what it seems.
strumming the life of the world
I have absolutely nothing
to offer you
baby girl.
