Here lies a province decimated by all who lust and shame
Where men, like jackals, smile with perfect arcuation in the pale light
And sudden through the mist with a gait to tame
One cloven warrior who spoke black and wight.

And in halting caste, fell before that brutish race
Like some poor boar that menacing coyotes tear
While brute dishonor, with her niveous face
He sauntered over and smote his lips that moved in prayer.

"Do not speak of God! For centuries, this word laments.
You are your king; therefore, you are what you see."
Without exhausting a breath for mazy mortal malcontent
The unbearably bright orb swept it away with a thousand leagues of sea.

Look upon the paltry shadows pose.

It's strange how sun and death travel together
Gwendolyn winks, but none can tell.
