Ok, so I have done meth maybe a total of 10 times in my life, always by insufflating it. The first three times were about 6 years ago, and it was everything this drug is cracked up to be. However, I only had a very small supply of my own back then, which ran out after my third time using it.

Now, over the course the past 5 years, I have bought small amounts of meth on three different occassions and from three different sources, all of which had lots of positive refferences, so it is very unlikely that the product itself would have been shit in all three cases. And yet, I have never again felt an effect that would even come close to what I felt the first times I did it. On all the subsequent times that I have tried it, it affected me in a way that was quite similar to regular Amphetamine (which I have a lot more experience with). That is to say, it gives me energy and focus and a somewhat pleasant general feeling, and I can get a lot of work done on it (or at least I could if it didn't also turn me into a fucking porn addict...). However, it does not give me anything close to the euphoria or intense feelings of pleasantness that it did the first few times, and it also does not keep me awake for more than maybe 12 hours after my last dose. Also, I can (and indeed: have to) take the stuff in surprisingly large amounts, e.g. easily 100-200mg over the course of a day or so. Obviously, since I have taken meth at most 1-2 times per year over the past 5 years, I can't have any tolerance whatsoever. I guess I might have some crosstolerance from having abused regular Amphetamine probably a few hundred times throughout my life -- then again, my last dose of regular Amphetamine is now also several months behind me, and I still require surprisingly large doses of Meth to achieve what is still a pretty subpar effect.

I guess I should consider myself lucky, as this obviously decreases the risk of addiction quite a bit, but more than being happy or sad, I am just curious how this can be the case. Has anyone had a similar experience or can think of a plausible explanation?

Is it proper crystal? It’s kinda impossible to answer as there are so many variables but I would think most likely you just haven’t got as high quality drug as those first times
