If anyone here has experiance with Good Samaritan acts across the US (and internationally if there are similar acts), I need some help. I am compiling a FAQ that would involve this, but the law varies from state to state. What I am looking for is
  • What conditions must be met for the Act to protect you
  • Limits to the protections (are you only protected from civil action or is there criminal protection)
  • How to best go about finding this information in your home state

My experiance is in FL, so I have that state covered. If anyone can help out in this regard I would appreciate it. I'm not looking to go too indepth, just some basics I can warn people of.

Thanks

I'm doing my homework on this one and will get back to you thru PM in the next couple days with links, ceryc, I have found a few already but will send all at once.

Do any of our posters have experience with the Good Samaritan concept (ESPECIALLY its equivalent outside the US/Canada)?

Discussion?

In TN. the law is codified in TCA 63-6-218. Civil liability is limited to acts which constitute "gross negligence".

TCA 68-131-203, deals with "limitation of immunity".
