Not that I'm aware of. I've had a 15 yr break from psychedelics until the past year.

Are you taking antidepressants or any similar medication? It's odd that you wouldn't be floored by 8 grams.

There are biological / genetic factors that can cause people to trip much, much less on mushrooms.

I think this is me because I also lack the enzyme that allows you to enjoy edibles. and I trip as expected on any lysergic.

That might explain it indeed because in my experience, 8g would be quite a bit more than a bore.
