I don't know if anyone observed this before but whenever you want to post a picture either disappears or it doesn't and it's marked with 'X'. There isn't anything wrong with the uploading site that the specific user use and I think everyone use imgur, the picture it's still uploaded with no issues isn't like it got deleted, it's just a glitch in our software.
 
I've had a few glitches but mostly only when I try to resize. Have you an example you can point me to so I can see what's going on shady?
 
CFC - there are two other deleted posts with similar issues we can look into just below this post.

Same image used for both those posts, but with different file names and urls...if I copy either deleted image and paste it to a browser, they both work, so the image is available on the web.

It's because the link being requested contains the wrong data to show on our forum (it contains some embedded markup). We need the basic version. For example, one of the links that won't work (the slim shady gif) points to:

https://media0.giphy.com/media/l3mZ7S92uDhSmTfFK/source.gif (contains embedded data XF can't process)

You can preview it fine, but it won't display on many forums. To get it to work, what you need is this version of the file:

https://media.giphy.com/media/l3mZ7S92uDhSmTfFK/source.gif

As you can see below:

If you only have the first link, usually just taking the number away works.

FWIW not having the XF data is a good thing as this is where info such as name, time and gps data (as well as other data such as size, etc.) can be stored by the camera. This ensures the images are anonymous :)
