why are we wired to ignore our morals?
why do we use to violence to solve our quarrels?
as if funds refund us from justice..

would you want some else to do whats right?
what if the script was flipped..
and you had no where to sleep at night..?
would you justify trying to fight for a taste of basic necessity?

what if you couldnt afford a meal?
would it be a big deal to steal?
fat cats reveal, loaded pockets too selfish to share...
if it was you, would you care?

what if you couldnt see your kids?
would it be so simple to forgive?
losing time to false alibis..
could you find the strength to try to see their side?

what if you couldnt believe?
would you need a reason not to deceive?
or to give in to your greed?
what else would you need to ensure another dont bleed?

give me answers..
why so much selfish cancer?
eating ourselves socially..
totally absurd,
attempting to make it remotely cured..
exempting those whose heart is pure..

but can we understand each others choices?
if we're censoring their voices?
do we really explain ourselves?
or is that up to everyone else?
