GHB and baclofen

To put it simply: are the sedative effects of both drugs comparable ?
I understand GHB acts on both GABAB and the GHB receptor. Agonists acting on the GHB receptor alone would not cause sedation.
 
No, they're not. Both are used to provide restful sleep for those with narcolepsy, but individuals often find that one works well, while the other does not. Subjectively, they feel quite different.
