GABA supplement crossing the blood brain barrier with Phenibut?

I was curious as to whether or not phenyl-GABA (phenibut) & GABA taken concurrently would have any increase in effects? Would the presence of phenyl-GABA in one's system potentially allow for more GABA (both from the supplement and those apart of the phenibut/phenyl-GABA molecule) to cross the blood brain barrier and increase effects? Any experiences or hypotheses?

Thanks in advance

It's not likely. The reason phenibut crosses BBB rather than being destroyed in periphery is because it's so much more fat soluble.
