found small white bugs in the soil of my friends plant.

What are they? Are they bad? If so, is it possible to get rid of them? They are very tiny and it's growing indoors 18 on 6 off artificial light cycle

When you say white bugs,are they like little flys (whitefly) or like little maggots with a black spot on their head (fungus gnat larve)
