For what reasons do you enjoy smoking cannabis?

For me I really enjoyed smoking when I was younger, I still have the same job as when I did when I smoked everyday. The thing for me that I most enjoyed was taking a huge bong rip mixed with tobacco rather then having a cigarette to wake up. It would wake me up immedialty and would take less time then a shower!
Im mostly curious of the people who smoke before going to work and if it works for them.

Now everytime I smoke before my work I just can't handle it and it almost makes me want to stop completely.

Anxiety relief. I also work outside in the sun all day, and it makes me feel cooler and not quite as miserable. It's is a great time killer when you're bored, not so much the smoking, but more what activities that smoking leads to.

Hello,

I never smoke before work - always in the evenings to make me sleep better. There are sleeping problems since I can think - because of my ADHD. Good indica weed is the best sleeping pill - for me.

>to melt & appreciate music
>to connect with others that also enjoy it

forever i melt and float away like waves in the ocean.. :|

I frequently smoke before work. It's help the time pass and puts me in a good mood which makes me better at my job(service industry).
I love that it can cure nausea. It's the best hangover cure IME.

First off great username. And yah I like to smoke mainly before work and just a little afterwards to sleep. Only if I'm in drug-binge mode to I stay up late smoking all night usually its very little no matter how late I'm up.

I see cannabis as an energy-management tool. It puts to rest a lot of unnecessary, neurotic behaviors and thoughts (such as social anxiety), which ordinarily deplete a lot of my body's resources. In doing so, it frees up those resources to be used toward more productive things, whether work or play. In other words, I use cannabis to allocate the budget of my body's energy.

For example, after using cannabis I don't restlessly lie in bed awake at night, worrying about a paper due in a couple days, while ironically ruining my ability to write a decent paper due to sleep deprivation.

I have Aspergers, and Anxiety. It helps for both. It brings me out of my shell, and pushes my irrational worries to the back of my mind and allows me to focus. I find learning very easy when high. I go deep into topics of interest and lust for knowledge more than I do when sober. I question everything I'm learning. Everything seems to just make more sense ... if that makes any sense.

@Weekend - thanks man. The show is genius man it kills me.

I also get get focus ^^^ especially when I smoke before going to the gym. I know people always think it would counter productive but I take a small amount of caffeine(40-50mg) and smoke a bowl or two I have an amazing workout. I can really focus on the muscles I'm targeting which is call mind-muscle connection. It's an important and often overlooked technique and smoking weed really helps.

I like it because of the people involved and the little things you do surrounding smoking, like making a point to cake bake a car with blunts you matched on with the friends you've been smoking with for years and just reminiscing about old times (which usually involve smoking)

I use it as a learning tool, (it amplifies plasticity) and to become closer to God.

It makes me incredibly horny (before I get 560 PM's, I'm male)

Seriously though it does, is that a common occurrence? Like not just thoughts and appreciation, but performance just goes up (pun intended) significantly.

I like Indicas to take the edge off, but I'm very sensitive to minor differences in strains, it has to be a very particular strain to give me exactly the kind of stress relief I need, and particularly in the evening, the perfect strain that takes absolutely all stress away for me and is still gentle is Grape Ape, a lot of Kushes as well.

Salivas are great to watch movies, it gets me in very deep, Indicas as well, but Sativas are especially great for thrillers or suspension movies, or for doing some outdoor activities.
My favorite Sativa dominant hybrid must be Blue Dream, favorite Sativas are Super Silver Haze or Lemon Haze.

Cannabis is great in general because you can create a very vivid world inside your head, entertain yourself with very deep thoughts, it's great to analyze stuff, and it goes well with meditation.
It also boosts my creativity, especially when you're photoshopping or drawing you try different things, you're just not paying too much attention to the process itself and more to the effect, almost on automatic pilot, which often results in more interesting results.

But I really need to use it in moderation these days, I appreciate it a lot more now then back in the days where I was constantly smoking it as well.
It has great medicinal values, but there's a sweetspot to it.(For me personally).

Yeah, I guess I ignored your question and just gave you a whole rant for nothing, sorry.
To answer your question more specifically

I used to smoke it all day, so also at work, and I never thought of it as a good combination, I don't function very well when baked, I also tend to become really in my head, and in a work environment that's not going well.

I like it most in the evening now, and when I have absolutely nothing to do but things I really enjoy doing.I don't smoke at work anymore for a long time now, but I tried it a few times after I stopped doing this for 5 years and the first time it got me paranoid, and the last time I just wanted to go home and became very bored with my job.

It used to have the opposite effect but recently, past two years, it's made sex incredible.

I had a job roofing one summer, and I used to smoke on the job for the same reason. Made carrying heavy shit up ladders all day easier and put me in the zone for it. My boss and coworkers smoked too, but my boss would get pissed if people smoked shitty weed because he thought it made them lazier lol. Good times.

I smoke in the mornings now, but I usually get up 2-3 hours before I need to start my day and watch a podcast or something. I'm usually not high at all by the time I'm leaving or getting to work, and I don't ever smoke while I'm there either. Makes my post work sesh my favorite one of the day where I can really appreciate it

for me it makes chilling out a lot more fun.

movies= funnier, sadder, more dramatic, more awesome.
music= soooo much better
games= a lot more fun
porn= yaaaaaa a lot better
sleep= a lot easier

Basically weed for me exaggerates everything. thats the way i think describes it best. everything is more fun, more engaging. you're so much more into it.
but paranoia/anxiety means i can only really smoke when im on my own :(, unless im in a really good mood to start with and im already in the zone. which is why i really really like to smoke weed when im on a functional stim. it basically eliminates the chance that i will get social paranoia so i can smoke weed socially if im on a functional stim e.g. 4f-mph. :D :D

I only smoke in the last couple hours before bed as I actually enjoy sobriety during the day these days..For me it changes the frenquency on the way I percieve things in such a way that I see/hear/tase them in a new =, and typically amplified light..Most ofthe time I have a bunch of "weed revelations" after smoking...Weed also makes me much more aware of my subconsciousand usually brings to light feelings and thoughts that I may have been experiencing but not reconizing..This isnt always pleasant, but most of the time it is, and in this way, THC is very meditative..And third is the body euphoria I get, which feels great after working a ten hour shift..I take bupe every night when I get home, and when I throw in some weed I usually get to crash out feeling pretty good, provided I dont do it every night..
