I like Indicas to take the edge off, but I'm very sensitive to minor differences in strains, it has to be a very particular strain to give me exactly the kind of stress relief I need, and particularly in the evening, the perfect strain that takes absolutely all stress away for me and is still gentle is Grape Ape, a lot of Kushes as well.
Salivas are great to watch movies, it gets me in very deep, Indicas as well, but Sativas are especially great for thrillers or suspension movies, or for doing some outdoor activities.
My favorite Sativa dominant hybrid must be Blue Dream, favorite Sativas are Super Silver Haze or Lemon Haze.
Cannabis is great in general because you can create a very vivid world inside your head, entertain yourself with very deep thoughts, it's great to analyze stuff, and it goes well with meditation.
It also boosts my creativity, especially when you're photoshopping or drawing you try different things, you're just not paying too much attention to the process itself and more to the effect, almost on automatic pilot, which often results in more interesting results.
But I really need to use it in moderation these days, I appreciate it a lot more now then back in the days where I was constantly smoking it as well.
It has great medicinal values, but there's a sweetspot to it.(For me personally).
