its funny because this is what we have been saying the last 40 years and now finally they have evidence to support what we already knew.

^ Yeah, I totally agree. It's hardly news to us. What's nice is that there's hard data behind it now. Also, who knows what the information we got here can lead to in the long run. And we still owe them respect for pulling off what no one else could do.

I must say though, that saying: “This is to neuroscience what the Higgs boson was to particle physics,” is a bit of an exaggeration imo.
