I love natalie portman, but i think of the 4 characters portrayed in the film, her performance was the weakest. in the strip club, she seemed flat, almost like she was reading cue-cards. but they all did a pretty good job

Its weird. I loved Natalie in this movie. I dont see how she was a yawn, I thought she stood out the most out of everyone in the film. Sexy as hell. I just bought this movie yesterday, have already seen it probably 20+ times from downloading it online, at least now I can watch it legally. Yay lol

Yeah, I thought the film was actually quite good. Not exactly well edited or even well scripted, but the performances were powerful enough to give you a brief insight into each of the characters.

And yet - contrary to the pre-film lampooning of Roberts, Portman and Law - it was Clive Owen that stole the show. The man's just gritty as fuck.

I liked it although it dragged in a few parts and if I hear Natalie Portman say "thank you!" in that ridiculously lilting-cliche tone of hers I will scream.
