Is fencamfamin (apparently known as Reactivan or Glucoenergan) still sold in the U.S. in any practical sense? I've never heard of anyone being prescribed this. Is there a reason it fell out of favor or was it always a rarity? What is the utility compared to other approved stimulants?

Most of the information I can find is in the scant Wikipedia article. Mostly searching just digs up speculation about an RC analogue.

While it had some hazy connection to opioid receptors and an atypical MOA vs the Amphs, I think it's poor efficacy was what kept it from taking off like the cheap and widely available Dexedrine. Or more recently, something with nearly zero abuse liability or side effects like Modafinil.

Not sure how this applies to HR though?
