Meth Eye Problems

Hi,

Many years ago I think I OD’d on coke. I started getting visual hallucinations and my eyes would start crossing involuntarily.

Since then it seems I have intermittent strabismus where my eyes drift upward and/or outward. This happens randomly even when sober but happens all the time when on coke or meth.

Has anyone else had this problem. Could the drugs have given me a stroke and messed up my nerves or muscles? I went to the doctor several times but they can’t find anything wrong and whenever I see them the eyes are fine.

I think it gets triggered by anxiety - sometime I’m talking to people and they start laughing because of my eyes (good friends have told me what actually is happening). It’s a vicious circle and I have difficult now with social interaction.

But it definitely gets triggered by coke/meth so I’m thinking that maybe my blood vessels are narrowing and this is restricting blood flow to cranial nerves and eye muscles.

This is a very fucked up situation. Any advice would be most welcome.

Thanks
