Perfectly normal when teenagers are coming to terms with their sexuality. As long there was no big age gap. My aunts used to get me hot, but obviously that was just a fantasy! Nothing was gonna happen there!
 
Why would someone be traumatised from something that is consensual? 13 and 12, right when sex hormones start shooting up.

Maybe the OP felt it was wrong at the time and still feels that's the case. Truth is, it wasn't wrong. Like you suggest, it's completely natural at that age to experiment with the opposite sex, same sex (even if not gay), and even siblings. It would have been wrong if there had been a large age gap, it was encouraged by anyone older, or it wasn't consensual, but there wasn't a significant age gap and it was consensual.

My first sexual experience was at 8 years old with another girl of the same age. She instigated it. Obviously, neither of us had a clue what was going on. I read up on it, and it's the same, not wrong, as odd as it may seem to us as adults. I remember not wanting to show her my penis because it was erect and I was embarrassed to show it to her in that state!
 
well... what young person doesn't wanna know how the other gender is made. and generally before puberty girls are icky to boys and I assume vice versa but (having no siblings) my female cousins were just other kids to play with. they didn't count as girls, or the boys as boys for that matter. but hey curiosity is there and AFAIK porno doesn't let you ask "where's the pee come out?" or "how do you shake the last couple drops out?" or "why do you have so many holes?" and at least so far doesn't let you touch and feel. so yeah I learned some interesting stuff from family. Obviously after a real libido formed it became taboo but I would say it helped me know what to expect from that first time.

on the other hand I've known adolescent brother and sister who seriously went at it when they needed a release. a bit much for me, esp. considering how open (and open to company) they were
