Poetry Evening stroll

[Noahhatesme]

I stare through the window
At a grey cat with no wiskers
Perched upon the ledge
A slow blink and i nod

As i walk down the pathway
Two cardinals sing a song
Of sorrow more blue than sapphires
And i listen with content

The skyline is emerald
And in it swim sharks
They naw at my eyes
My visions left dark
