ER pills

I have som 15 MG ER morphine and I was wondering if I split them would it be like a 15 MG IR? I have the tolerance as I get 30 and 60 MG IR morphine but I hear how dangerous splitting ER pills can be.

Yes, chewing, crushing, breaking them will turn them into IR pills. But (if you are one of the one who take it twice a day) they will essentially be 7.5mg not 15mg IR, once they are broken. Keep that in mind.

The person above me is wrong. If they are powdered it should be like 15 mg ir, but taken whole it should be 7.5 ir, but for ten hours
