Easy synths

Not sure if this is OK to post, but given access to any precursor available, anywhere, ever, what precursors and what psychoactives would you suggest? Ones that aren't overtly toxic, preferably.

I'm not asking for methodology (perhaps citations), just suggestions from those in the know regarding organic chemistry.

What precursor is pyrovalerone easiest to synth from, for instance?

Synthesis discussion is not allowed. The easiest drug you can "synthesize" is ethanol, doesn't require any chemistry knowledge.
