DXM Questions for SWIM

Hello,

SWIM is planning on taking Robitussin syrup for a DXM trip. SWIM has never taken DXM, and has minimal knowledge about it. The syrup SWIM has procured has 2 active ingredients, DXM itself, plus an antihistamine (Doxylamine Succinate). It's 30mg/20ml of the DXM and 12.5mg/20ml of the antihistamine. SWIM is 160 lbs, and only looking for a first/second plateau experience. How much should SWIM take, and is the antihistamine a problem?
 
The doxylaminr will make you tired and sick. I'd reccomend against taking the syrup.
 
Agreed; do not ingest this syrup.
Find yourself a bottle containing only DXM as the active ingredient.

Also, don't SWIM. We know it's you. It's actually against the rules here
 
I agree with those other post. You need to find some cough medicine with ONLY dxm in it. Anything else in there will make you very sick or possibly even kill you.
 
When I want to trip on DXM, I buy the 5mL bottle (the bigger one; it also comes in a 3mL bottle) of Delsym which only has DXM as the active ingredient. I drink the entire bottle and this amount is sufficient for me to have a decent trip.
 
high doses of doxylamine succinate will get nasty and delirious.

as the others have said. you need a DXM only containing medicine
