Misc Drugs that actually helped with your BPD/depression?

I just want to throw out here, upon further research I believe I am doing DBT, and have done it in the past, as well.

But tbf, I wasn't always the most compliant.

Oh what you speak German

Meine Therapeuten machen Verhaltenstherapie, was geweils CBT als auch DBT sein könnte.. Vielleicht frage ich einfach mal nach.

I think you should ask your therapists (more than one?) what kind of therapy they are trying with you. If what you;re doing for quite some time now hasn't work, you have to try something different. Now do the therapists and your doctor (who writes your prescriptions and is the one who will hopefully know what meds to try next and ho to go about it) should work together?

That was bad phrasing on my end, sorry.
I was talking about my therapist in the past and the one I currently have.

I stopped going to therapy for a couple years, but continued with my medication, which was a decision my general practitioner and former therapist reached.

My current therapist does not work with my doctor, no. But I am planning on asking them to refer me to a psychiatrist, who I can consult instead of my GP.

What happens often is that one doctor (psychiatrist/neurologist) prescribes you some stuff, and then they send you off and you do or don't go to therapy, but in most cases you don't see the specialist for a long time. I don't know how things work in Germany nowadays, but I remember that when you were in the staatliche Krankenkasse, you couldn't just go to a specialist, you had to consult with your GP first an he had to refer you. The point with the GPs is that in most cases they won't change your prescriptions of any medications previously prescribed by a specialist. But they won't refer you to a specialist unless you ask for it, and give them a reason to. Telling him/her that you want to readjust your medication because you are not feeling good should be enough. Good luck!
