Imo if you have anything out on display, if the authorities come a knock, knock, knocking on your door, then you are obviously completely fucked, obviously depending very heavily on what it is they find, one gram of an RC and it is promised that it will not lead to any prosecutions, but any old school drug /anything recognizable by the police and you are gonna be fucked. However, certain forces take a lenient approach to cannabis products too. If they have any further suspicions they may well search all immediately accessible drawers and cupboards and hiding places too etc. They may have sniffer dogs.

Finally there are many hiding places that can be found within the structure of houses, or semi-structural components within houses, particularly in old houses, and the structure can be made good afterwards. I really cannot see the police going to the extent of completely gutting a house, especially if they've found no evidence to go on. Recently my neighbors have been so nosy and interfering, i believe they have even phoned the police about me several times, on one occasion i gathered that they were coming very soon, so i immediately started hiding everything away as well as possible.

I have actually hidden some 1Ps so well that i cannot find them at all, even after turning every room in the house practically upside down, and also everything else was such a pain in the arse to simply get to that ive just gone back to my old ways over the weeks that the police never turned up, in the hope that keeping the noise down at night and going to bed as early as possible will prevent another police call. I strongly get the feeling that the police really just do not want to get involved, having received letters in the immediate aftermath of one of these 'noisy late nights' referring me to my GP to asses my mental health! :\ :sus: :| 8o

Some of the stuff posted is quite shocking, some involving some truly sick behavior, some involving scenarios very similar to the one you mentioned above. On the tube sites however the neighbor in this scenario always gets invited in by a gang of giggling teenagers wearing cheer-leader outfits or something similar, or more mature women, all of whom want to 'finish him off' and take turns having a go.

As for myself, I have a very old lady one side of me, and a very respectable, churchy-type spinster on the other. I don't think if i was to do the above, that things would go quite the way they do on the tube sites. :\

What drugs have the longest shelf life? maybe now it's the time to invest in exotic commodities seeing interest rates may hit minus figures.

seriously, most tablets used in medicines should be stable and fine for 10 years + provided they are kept blister / vacuum sealed (their was a debate in he media regarding what was considered unnecessarily short 'use by' dates on tablet prep medicines a few years back when the waste of these items was discussed). Powders I cannot say, nor could I comment on individual drugs, but I would think that anything that comes as a liquid (elixirs, suspensions, sysrups etc) are more likely to degrade more quickly than any other preparations - but then there is the urban legend about the group of acid enthusiasts who opened and used a 20 odd year old bottle of Delysid to find that it still had full effect.

This is 90% speculation though - apart from the general stability of pharmacy grade tablets, I honestly don't know as it may depend on the individual drugs themselves.
 
The best "investment" drug is nicotine. Buy fags in packets with a prominent duty seal and store them in nitrogen-flushed airtight barrels. Sell them in a couple of years, when the retail price has been pushed up by the duty that you have already paid.

It would of course be highly illegal, if a total ban forced you to cash in early, to keep back a few barrels to sell on the underground market at a vast profit .....
