Drugs and SSRIs

Hi,

Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a question about taking drugs while on SSRIs, it would be great to get some feedback.

I've been on 40mg daily of Citalopram (SSRI) for 9 months, for minor anxiety.

I'm going to Magaluf in 10 days and only recently discovered I can't take MDMA while on Citalopram - absolutely gutted!

I did have some coke a few months back which felt normal but I don't really want that kind of high on holiday, I want something closer to MDMA.

Are there any drugs which can be taken with SSRIs without the effect being blocked/reduced? I've read speed is ok with SSRIs but I've never tried it, even before the SSRIs.

Any advice would be great!

Just no uppers man. Speed? Definitely not! I would get of the ssri for about a month

Thanks, I did read that already. Seems like my only option is Speed but I doubt it's readily available in Magaluf. I don't think you could even get it in Ibiza?

why shouldn't there be any speed in a place where there's mdma? i'd eat ten hats if there's no speed readily available on ibiza.

Meth/amphetamines will deplete serotonin levels. Maybe ask ur pschyciatrist
