A friend of mine was contacted by the police because a package addressed to his apartment (with his phone # linked to it) was intercepted and had drugs in it.
The police called him and he said that he did not know anyone from the area it was sent or anything about the package. They then said that he is currently not in trouble, but that they may try to get a search warrant for his phone. In that case if they find that he was in contact with someone in the area it was sent from he can be charged. He did get the package sent from a friend in that area and was in contact with him via text message.
What should he do/ can he get in trouble?? Thanks for the help.
