For instance, both moclobemide and caffeine are CYP1A2 inhibitors -- does that mean caffeine increases moclobemide levels in the blood, or is it the opposite -- caffeine reduces moclobemide in the body?

I drink a lot of caffeinated beverages and I'm medicated on moclobemide.

Both being inhibitory on the same enzyme doesn't mean they would interact per se, but that if you were on another medication which was metabolized by cyp1a2 it would be difficult for your body to break that medication down and excrete it, could lead to overdose.
