Okay, so it seems whenever I masturbate the night before taking Vyvanse 30mg the next day it doesn't seem to work as well, and I feel much more depressed when it wears off as opposed to not masturbating at all.

Am I just making myself crazy and telling myself this? Or does the dopamine release actually fuck with Vyvanse?

I got MAJOR temporary (up to a couple hours) depression if I masturbated too frequently while ON amphetamines, but I mean, i've never had it reduce future potency. I'd finish and then feel miserable, because, between Adderall and orgasm, I had nothing that felt anywhere close to as good, so I got downed a little. Could still be placebo lol.

You release lots of different chemicals from mastrubation, and depleting yourself before taking the medication CAN affect it. Some people here may not experience it and say it's BS, but maybe it's just us with low dopamine levels that notice a major difference.

I knew that this WAS TRUE! I'm going to stop fapping in general because I knew the dopamine levels would fuck with my ADD meds. Thanks man. I just needed some clarification that it was actually a chemical imbalance.

Idk... I'd like to see some hard proof of this, placebo is a powerfull thing. Also, OP says it even happens when masturbating the night before, it's not like masturbation depletes dopamine for extended periods of time. I've had amphetamines trigger several hour sex sessions with zero decline in effects, again I call placebo... stomach content and other factors are more likely explanations however keep in mind the brain is a strange, powerfull thing.

Documented and true, but shouldn't be as profound as some users are talking about. I'm not going to hunt for the papers but I going over a list of reasons amphs could cause dopamine depletion early in the day and cracking up about "excessive masterbation". I recall using it as one of my answers on the test for the unit.

While there may be some effects on dopamine levels, I doubt they'd be significant enough to even notice, especially if you aren't taking vyvanse until the following morning.

Think about it, if masturbating can cause a difference in dopamine levels, imagine what happens after 8 hours of sleep....

Last night was my first time using vyvanse, have used amphetamines in pill form before though. I took 200mg (5 40mg) at around 12:30am or so, didnt feel anything for like an hour maybe an hour and a half..then I felt nice and was watching TV. I guess I passed out because I woke up around 3am and since nobody was home started masturbating...I must have came 4-5 times lmao. I'm WIDE awake right now and its almost 12 hrs since I dosed. Overall I think its decent for recreational use. Oh and im 5'11" and 205lbs.

I haven't jerked off in 5 days, and oh my god! Vyvanse is literally the best feeling now! It lasts at least 3x as longer, I am AMAZING in social situations now, I feel much more confident, and the best part is that I'm not getting depressed anymore when it wears off.

Anyone else taking Vyvanse, just try holding back for a good amount of time, and you will start to feel great again.

It really makes sense, regardless of proof. Vyvanse gets the user high with a dopamine flood, and celibacy will build up the dopamine bank so the vyvanse has more dopamine to work with. If you jack off before taking it and use up a good portion of that dopamine on an orgasm, the vyvanse will have less to work with.

In my experience its very certain that amps improve sexual pleasure and performance however definitely seem to reduce the beneficial effects of the stim after your have had an orgasm.

It also absolutely definitely without question causes some kind of reduced effect and negative symptoms appearing. I used to think this was from the extended physical strain from such activities but even a quicky reduces the high afterwards. So if there is some real reason for this it might also make sense that an orgasm before taking the drug would reduce the potential results.

Its only if your orgasm though, not any activity until that point.

Okay, so I relapsed with jerking it this morning around 6 AM. (All night study session)

and today at around 2:00 PM I took 30mg Vyvanse & 20mg Fluoxetine

Definately can tell you guys with only 5 hours of sleep, and Masturbating that Vyvanse doesn't feel as strong as when I was still on my streak. Anyways, I'm starting over and I'm gonna quit masturbation FOR GOOD. I feel like if my Dopamine levels are naturally restored to their full potential, my Vyvanse Sessions will feel MUCH better. Such as completely getting rid of that AWFUL depressing feeling you get when it wears off.

Masturbating when Im under the influence of amphetamines never depresses me or negatively affects my high, and I mustve done it hundreds of times. It does make me wanna go out for half a cigarette or a nice hit of weed though after I nut. But I do that when Im sober too.

I do eventually get depressed on stim comedowns, but that could be 3 days and 15 orgasms later.
