Benzos does alcohol increase benzo tolerance?

Hey,

So I've been a daily drinker for about a year or so. By daily I mean drinking strictly after work, school, etc., never during the day and I just got back into using benzos as i have pretty substantial ADHD and Anxiety related symptoms and I really enjoy benzos/downers in general lmao

That being said, I haven't used benzos regularly for about 3-4 years and it now takes me upwards of 6mgs of Xanax to get any decent buzz and even feel much.

I'm wondering if it's just a cross-tolerance as both as both are gabaergic drugs and if anyone has any experience about this as I'd love to enjoy my benzo buzz again.

I dont get buzzed, maybe sleepy, but I dont drink with them. They just take away that icky nervous feeling when Ive tried other things to ease my anxiousness, but you seem experienced and I hope you dont get blacked out, Ive learned alot here and there, 6mgs eh?
