I have been taking it for couple of years and recently went down from 12 to 6 mg (2 mg down every week) but when I tried to go from 6 to 4 mg the withdrawal effects started getting bad so I keep using 6mg daily.
The main reasons I take it is depression and akathisia.
So my bile duct has been swollen and little inflamed for several months. For the last 3 weeks I have severe abdominal pain and ended up in ER 3x.
They did endoscopic ultrasound and confirmed the bile duct issue (but bastards refused endoscopy because Canadian "free" health care is shit) and they found gallstones.
So they say there's 50% chance the pain and bloating is caused by gallstones and 50% chance by bile duct.
But what is causing bile duct to be inflated and painful? They say it could be suboxone and want me to quit in 4 weeks.
I just took my sub and it DID bloat my stomach and caused more pain. Even though just 2 months ago I was on 12 mg with no problems. But pain/bloating happens from most food and liquid too. About 3 months ago I had just 1 small sip of whisky and my upper stomach looked like a 9 month pregnant womans.
Anyway, what is the best approach to quit suboxone in short time as possible?
Thanks
