I know someone who got some but hes 45. Im on methadone which dulls the sex drive so horribly and right now the only option is to keep using meth to get horny or get this drug as I hear its much safer than viagra/cialis while I dont like anyway.

There is - its called Caverject :D. Beware - if your pregnant you must advise your doctor before injection ;l

I asked my doctor for this. He's okay with giving me Cialis and Viagra, but I really don't like using them.
He told me about the danger of damaging blood vessels and then referred me to a urologist.
I still haven't got the script.

why don't you like Viagra or Cialis ? I know some people can have nasty side effect from Viagra (it varies with me - sometimes I'm fine other time I feel like I'm on fire and having a migraine - not the best mood for sex).

If you have the horrible side effects have you tried lowering your dose ? It may take some trial and error between actually working / side effects but probably worth it. I personally thought the injections were only issued when all else has failed.

With Viagra I don't like the flushed face, the swollen nose and a tendency to blue lips.
Cialis sometimes gives me an unpleasant backache or a headache. The last time it really upset my stomach.
I only take this stuff so that I can be hard for my partner.

I have a horrible reaction to Viagra (what you explain) -but feel that after I cumming - I don't feel satisfied and want more?

I would have your testosterone checked.. I was on methadone for a decent stretch and when I got mine checked it was almost non existent.. when I went on re[placement therapy the sex drive and so many other things changed from night to day for the positive. Methadone can crush natural testosterone levels, especially at moderate to high doses.

I use alprostadil 40mcg injections. It was prescribed by my urologist. Calais, Viagra, etc., do noting for my total Erectile Dysfunction. An injection of alprostadil will make me firm but not rock hard. If you don’t have ED, no need to prick your dick. The erection should not last longer than an hour.
Also, while it will induce an erection, it does not increase your libido or sex drive.
Alprostadil can cause Priapism - prolonged erection.
Prolonged erections without sexual stimulation are emergency situations. Left untreated, this will cause erectile dysfunction—inability to achieve or maintain an erection—or disfigurement of the penis. Damage to the tissue in the penis can occur as early as four hours after the start of the erection.

It is extremely unlikely a doctor will prescribe you anything IV/IM (unless it's insulin).
There are very very rare circumstances where it is completely unavoidable, but a doctor's just not gonna do that if there are alternatives.

Best option is to see a urologist, not just any doctor. Urologist hav specific training and knowledge regarding ED and effective treatments.

Having used alprostadil injects myself, I have found these type of injections are not like other injections. The needle is extremly thin and small, no more than 1/2” long, superfine (29 gauge) needle. It is susceptible to breakage. Care should be taken when injecting alprostadil (Edex).

it is more of a psychological thing than any actual pain involved with the injection. Yes, you can feel it but it is not painful.
