Do companies commonly test for methadone?

If so how do I explain it? I made the dumb mistake of asking my consular at the methadone clinic and they fed me the bullshit party line about how its illegal to discriminate sure maybe they'd still hire you but that doesn't stop them from harassing you every time a paperclip goes missing or you take longer than 5 minutes in the bathroom.

In my experience, nothing of a prescription nature has come up in an employment drug test. They're checking mostly for weed and the illegal stuff. Unless you're operating machinery I suppose.
