Dispensory selling crappy weed?

anyone had this problem? Last two times I went to the dispensory the buds I got were flattened, like they had been compressed in storage. I've also received buds that were not properly cured before, and in addition the weed just isn't that good.
 
Yes. I've definitely seen shitty weed at dispensaries. Not properly cured is standard at a lot of places.

Possible the flattened ones were shipped from CA lol
Or just stored for a long time
 
Well, you have your choice of dispensary. It is not you only got one dealer in your town. Go around to different ones and stick to one you like. Check the price maybe? If your payin 5 dollars for a gram, don't be shocked that its bottom of the barrel scrapped up unwanted leaves. I pay xx to xx a gram, worth it in the long run. One hit wonders.

I paid $xx.xx for the gram I got today and I think for that price the buds should look near perfect. But yeah, gonna have to try out other dispensaries. It's just this one is the closest to my house.

yeah I feel ya...guess I got it good out here, got more dispensaries than 7 elevens hahah its fun to go to different ones too. Most budtenders are awesome

Cali is full of millions of pounds of shit outdoor weed. The #1 hustle by far is growing crap outdoor for shipment to the east/midwest. I recommend wax. Usually they can make some bomb diggity wax even from shitty outdoor :)

As a FORMER grow worker I can absolutely tell you, you can find literally tons of crappy contaminated weed from even the biggest names in the legal industry. I recently quit my job at a grow because I could no longer ignore the unethical practices because they put me in charge of a 400sq ft bloom room after the guy before me quit for the same reason. We had a crippling spider mite infestation, which they thought they could solve by spraying black listed products like eagle20, heavy16, and psytlet. And to remove the ridiculous amount of webbing coving the buds they'd have is fill up a trash can with water and pest bully and dip the entire plant, then dry and trim. No cure. The shit was foul, and I've flushed weed I bought from my own job.
THESE people were straight up drug dealers in it to make a quick couple million at the expense of medical patients.
That being said though, there are PLENTY of dispensarys out here in Colorado that put quality and the patients satisfaction above all, places of real holistic medica relief. These are the places I'm trying to find a postion in because I love working with cannabis but I refuse to sell out my morals for $16 an hour.
The problem is the smaller, more quality orientation places are small businesses, they can't afford advertising specialists, focus groups and billboards.
I advise to ask around to the local if you ever make a visit, find the holes in the wall, don't run into the dispensary off the first exit by the airport, they're always tourist traps and wildly overpriced
 
they have this shitty stuff at the new dispensary i go to ... its $x/gram . there's also tons of really good weed at the store i go to

Dispensary or not, buyer beware.

It isn't as simple as picking an item off the menu.

8o sadly i think that's also the direction some of the gray-market dispensaries in Canada are going in :\ regulation is necessary to get a mature, safe industry going and not just drug dealers paying taxes.

also guys please respect the NO PRICES rule of CD
 
There will always be quality places to find good meds. It'll just get to the point you'll have to hunt for them because the walmarts of the industry will blow up and leave them in the shade.
 
I find it funny that myself as well as other people with over 2,000 posts still can't remember no price discussion. I guess I figured it would be ok because I was speaking about a legal purchase.
 
it's unfortunately a slippery slope because for every one person who would discuss prices with no ulterior motive, there are a dozen spammers looking for opportunities to stealth-advertise their own shit and it's already taking up considerable amount of mod-hours keeping BL clean of commercial content. i'm not sure there's even a BL-sized forum left on the entire internet that hasn't been taken over by advertising and third-party entities looking to profit off the community.
