Hey all.

I normally buy my benzos off a very trusted vendor on Nightmare and I always get the Rivotrils (clonazepam) but he's out of stock so the only benzos he's got in stock are:

Diazepam
Lorazepam
Temazepam
Nitrazepam

Which one should I get?

Cheers guys.

All I know is that lorazepam has a shorter Half-Life than diazepam. I've never taken lorazepam and only took diazepam occasionally many years ago I did enjoy it however.

I have known valium addicts, one old friend told me that about the lorazepam. I think he also said that it would make him more irritable and antsy than Diazepam.

Clonazepam is the only thing that helps my PTSD. Alprazolam is junk as it is short-lived but Diazepam although short-lived helps anxiety quite well. I am also prescribed Temazepam 30MG for sleep and it is great. Tomorrow I will be taking it instead of Clonazepam and can report back? Nitrazepam is great for sleep and potent with long half-life but I haven't heard much as a daytime medication

The best value for money is the Diazepam then Lorazepam. His Temazepam and Nitrazepam are quite expensive. Basically its between Diazepam and Lorazepam but I dont know which one to get. His Lorazepam are the 2.5mg tablets. Lorazepam being shorter acting with lower doses does that make it stronger than Diazepam? Cheers.

You haven't said what you want it for, which would affect the advice given. If it's just "which will get me the most high (etc)", aside from being overly subjective, you know we don't encourage those kind of how do I get high(er) queries.

I've taken both lorazepam (Ativan) and diazapam(valium). Lorazepam is heaps stronger. Like it gives you a lol mellow kick. Whereas valium is subtle and take more and more to get the chill buzz good Hance you'll just fall asleep or just feel like it. 2.5 of lorazepam is strong tabs. On benzo converter it says on one that 1mg lorazepam is equal to 10mg valium another converter says 1mg Ativan is 15mg valium. Me personally would go lorazepam. It's shorter but hits harder and stronger. But I don't know what your taking it for and that's just me. If it's GAD maybe valium as the shit lingers and might help more. But a full blown panicked attack id go lorazepam. But man I'm no dr I've just taking my fair share lol. Hope it helps?

I have problems sleeping and I get daytime anxiety for no reason.. I've told my doctor this but he will NOT prescribe benzos while I'm on high doses of Oxycodone. He'll only give me antidepressants for the anxiety which don't work and the occasional Zopiclone for the insomnia. So I'm left to deal with the problem my self hence why I take benzos. I don't take em every day I only take em as needed.

How long have you been on the Oxy's? What dose?

Reason I ask is.. because the Oxy may have some contributing factors with regards to your sleep, anxiety etc..

I've been on the oxy for about 3 years and im on 120mg IR daily (30mg 4x a day).

I'd go for the diazepam. Lorazepam is really subtle in my experience. Diazepam is pretty much my favourite benzo

Did you have the same severity of anxiety/insomnia symptoms before you started using Opiates? Or Benzos for that matter? Long term use and/or tolerance to either of these types of drug will usually have negative implications for anxiety, insomnia, depression etc..

Even if you had problems before.. you may have bigger problems now. I used to suffer with severe anxiety and depression.. But generally, my sleep was OKish.. After even a short amount of time using Benzos/Opiates, I noticed how my sleep architecture had been wrecked, and any anxiety that I had, was much much worse.. As for depression, after Opiate use I would go to a new low where I'll have obsessive suicidal/homicidal ideation, and uncontrollable crying amongst other things..

Well I've got no choice but to take the Oxy cos I've got Peripheral Neuropathy in my left arm. I'm also prescribed Pregabalin. You'd think by taking big doses of Oxy and Pregabalin I'd be pretty much anxiety free, but no :(.

I've had major anxiety since I was a teenager. But my doc will not put a benzo on top of a strong opioid and a gabapentinoid.

I have a friend who suffers with Neuropathy, and it literally controls her life. Her GP will only prescribe her Gabapentin. He outright refuses her Pregabalin or any type of Opioid pain medication whatsoever.. It's amazing how the healthcare in our country can be such a postcode lottery!
I've been on Pregabalin - 600 mg per day, for 3 years, and it now does very little to help my anxiety; tolerance. You've probably built up a massive Oxy tolerance as well so you may be suffering from withdrawal.. And even taking Benzos as needed can still cause more problems for your anxiety, insomnia, depression symptoms in the medium-long term.

Yeah Neuropathy is a very hard condition to get under control! Luckily my GP is Neurologist so he knows how bad it is. A combination of a neuropathic analgesic like Pregabalin and a moderately potent opioid like Oxycodone is the only way to get it properly under control which mine is.

No I'm definitely not going through opioid WD, trust me I know what oxy wd feels like lol.

I've ordered some clonazepam. 30 tablets will last me about 2-3 months.

My Neurologist is pretty poor tbh. They originally thought I was suffering with Trigeminal Neurelgia.. But it became apparent that I was suffering with Cluster Headaches. They've tried me on loads of prophylactic antiepileptics with no success.. only severe side-effects. They have tried me on most the Triptans, but my GP refuses to give me the Morphine that the Neurologist recommended to her..

Anyway, that's going off one one a bit!

Your Benzo use is enough for you to have developed some dependence. I work it out you are taking 1 Clonazepam every 2-3 days .. I'm guessing they are 2mg?

You ought to get a new GP if he won't prescribe what the specialist is recommending!

I'd say more like 3-4 days, remember clonazepam has got a long-ish half life and yeah they're 2mg tablets. They're just so effective for my anxiety they're an absolute god send! Do you think I should I tell my GP I'm buying clonazepam illegally? Maybe he will prescribe a benzo with him knowing I've been ok on clonazepam lol.
