Diazepam and Tramadol Safe?

Is it safe to take 200mg of Tramadol with 5mg of diazepam? I was prescribed these medicines and I am unsure if this is safe to take together in these amounts. Thanks.

Are you tolerant to either of these classes of drugs, benzos or opiates? If not the tramadol seems a little high but I could see it being fine if used for a legit pain condition. I'm no doctor so take this all with a grain of salt and use them only at prescribed doses.

I believe The combo of diazepam and tramadol is actually safer then just tramadol alone (not just diaz) assuming you don't get hazardous CNS depression from too high of a dose. Tramadol can cause seizures and diazepam will help prevent seizures so that kind of protects you.
