Depressants before stimulants equal euhoria

I have experimented with depressents and stimulants and what I've came up with was if you do xanax or alcohol or any depressant before you do a stimulant, theres a much bigger chance you will experience euphoria. I do understand that its very important to measure out you're doses and start off with the smallest ammount possible for safety, to understand you're own tolerance and what you can handle. I was just wondeng if anyone has any more information on this subject.
