One in seven Cambridge students is dealing drugs to help pay their way through university, according to a survey. It found many claim that they have been forced to sell illegal substances to friends to make ends meet as they study. And it revealed nearly two-thirds admitted taking drugs, with cannabis the most popular substance.

A spokesman for the university, which intends to charge £9,000 tuition fees, said: ‘There is no indication of the validity of this survey but clearly the university doesn’t condone dealing in illegal substances.

‘We would advise students they should avoid taking substances that may seriously affect their ability to complete their course.’

I'm very suspicious about those numbers. Maybe 1/3 have sold a drug some time in their life, if you count scoring together or grabbing an extra bag for a friend or whatever, but as utopian as it sounds, a school where 1/3 of the students are active drug dealers sounds unlikely :(

With those figures if true it would mean that possibly a good portion of our future politicians could have been former drug dealers whilst at Cambridge University.

This is the case already but it doesn't seem to have helped us much :(

True, once in positions of power to actually change things they all lose their balls, scared of what the populace would say.
All the facts are there that war on drugs doesn't work. Portugal has proved that with their approach that drug crimes, deaths etc have fallen and they haven't seen a rise in the amount of people using drugs.
The evidence is there but our lot choose to totally ignore it.
No balls at all any of them.
