Hi! Does anyone have any idea on how much should you smoke, that it actually starts to induce the enzyme CYP1A2?

Is smoking a cigar every now and then going to have an effect on this enzyme?

I'm on a mediation which is a substrate of CYP1A2 - that's why I'm concerned.

Thanks!

Which medicine? I imagine on cigar infrequently isnt a huge deal, but something like clozapine isnt something you really want to take chances with.

Yes, it's clozapine, but smoking actually decreases the effects of it, so it's not dangerous or anything.
