i used to store it on my person. checked on it frequently. it meant a lot to me.

Any small, airtight container with a lid works fine. I wouldn't store it in metal

Anything made from glass or pyrex is ideal but not 100% necessary.
Ziplocs, tupperware, pill bottles, ect. It's a salt, so its fine just about anywhere so long as it's DRY. It has an extremely long shelf life
