crack turn in to ash

hello
sorry for bad english..
i cook my own crack, i put it with soda in a 1:1 ratio, on a small pan, add a little watter so it wont burn evry time,
until i looks like its smoabable. somtime i cant wait for it to fully dry (mabey thats the reason?) but wen i smoke it, it turns in to ash and not wait oil on my pipe.
is anyone know why is that?

Wait for it to dry every time - has to be totally dry

Also, you are using far too much soda. You want a 4:1 cocaine-bicarbonate soda ratio. Even that can be slightly too much soda

Edit - you are probably undercooking it too. If it gets foamy, keep cooking slowly until all foam has gone and you are left with oil on water. Then leave it to cool and dry, or collect the oil on a coin or a knife and leave to dry.

Also - the best thing is to not learn how to cook properly and just stop right now before you almost inevitably fuck your life up smoking crack
